Job Description:

STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
  • Task and Skills (Scope of Work to be Performed)
  • The Office of Technology Services (OTS) was established as a means of recognizing cost savings through the consolidation of State IT assets and resources. The creation of OTS consolidated a wide variety of existing hardware platforms, operating systems, database management systems, networks, third party software, and custom applications.

    OTS leads the State's technology procurement process in order to standardize technology over the entire organization, seek efficiencies of operations, maintenance, and scalability of new products introduced to the OTS suite of services which can eventually be offered to all in-scope agencies.

    The State intents to secure temporary IT personnel for job title(s) listed below:

    Support Services Project Manager Number of resources: 1


    Support Services Project Manager:

    The scope of the proposed services will include the following:

    • Develop plans, task, schedules, and milestones to track and manage process and cost;

    • Define program goals and objectives, and align them with the organization's strategy;

    • Develop project plans and schedules, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets;

    Lead cross-functional teams to deliver programs and projects on time and within budget;

    • Manage risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed;

    • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including senior management;

    • Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to ensure program and project goals are met;

    • Ensure compliance with program management processes and standards;

    • Provide on-going evaluation and improvements for program management processes and practices;

    • Provide day-to-day support for on-going processes;

    • Provide on-going evaluation and improvements for processes; work in needed areas to provide application support for agency's workload demands;

    • Make recommendations and act when necessary to address problems or adjust to change

    Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:

    • 5 years' experience in project management

    • 5 years' team lead experience with developers and business analysts

    • 5 years' experience with project management tools and methodologies, which include Scrum, Waterfall, Azure Dev Ops, etc.

    • Bachelor's Degree - Any Field

    Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:

    • Scrum Master Certification

    • Master's Degree - Any Field
