A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Technology Trainer to join its Technology team in the downtown Baton Rouge office. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys teaching others, improving technology adoption, and partnering with attorneys and staff to deliver engaging, effective training programs. The ideal candidate has prior law firm experience, strong technical knowledge, and a passion for helping others succeed.
What You’ll Do:- Train attorneys and staff on both basic and advanced features of the firm's legal technology applications
- Deliver one-on-one, group, and virtual training sessions
- Design, develop, and maintain training materials, guides, and learning resources
- Partner with firm leadership to identify training needs and implement effective learning solutions
- Create and enhance training programs that support employee development and firm-wide initiatives
- Assist with testing, documentation, and rollout of new software and technology tools
- Analyze help desk trends and user feedback to identify additional training opportunities
- Evaluate and develop content for Learning Management Systems (LMS) and on-demand eLearning programs
- Coordinate technology training for new hires in partnership with Human Resources
- Provide post-training support, including desk-side assistance and follow-up coaching
- Measure training effectiveness through surveys and feedback to continuously improve programs
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience
- 5+ years of technology training or organizational development experience
- Previous law firm experience strongly preferred
- Experience planning, developing, and delivering technology training programs
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, One Drive, and SharePoint)
- Experience with document management systems (DMS) preferred
- Knowledge of legal case management, time entry, and expense management systems is a plus
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning platforms
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel to all eight Louisiana and Texas office locations, including overnight travel as needed
