** Who You Are:*
* The Public Safety Functional Consultant is a key member of the Oracle team responsible for supporting critical operational areas. Covering a combination of technical and logistical aspects of Oracle public safety implementations, this position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to develop trusting business partnerships with public safety customers, contractors, and vendors. You will identify customer vehicle hardware requirements, provide guidance to customers to achieve a successful hardware solution, and coordinate hardware orders and vehicle installations for Oracle public safety solutions.
This position will lead integration discovery sessions, gathering workflow and development requirements for public safety integrations, and assist with legal agreements with vendors. You must identify potential issues and risks early in an implementation to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans. This team member will partner closely with the Sales, Product, Development, Shipping, and Support teams to ensure a superior customer relationship throughout the implementation.
This role requires the ability to adapt to change quickly, a drive for results, and a "never satisfied" mentality. You will be an early team member of this fast-growing and exciting line of business at Oracle.

* What you will do:

* + Develop trusted relationships with our customers, set expectations, provide meaningful and timely communication, and deliver on promises and commitments.
+ Use your experience and knowledge in public safety operations to align customer needs and requirements with evolving hardware and integration development.
+ Coordinate hardware installations in public safety and first responder vehicles, to include ordering, shipping, scheduling, and onboarding contracted vehicle upfitters.
+ Identify data sources, workflows, and use cases to be used in development of dispatch, records, and jail integrations for each project.
+ Work with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to define integration requirements and ensure seamless implementation.
+ Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting any risks, issues, or delays.
+ Expand the way we provide service by going beyond our customers' expectations by designing and delivering market leading implementation methods and solutions to deliver an amazing experience.
+ Exhibit strong executive presence and ability to interact with key project sponsors.
** What you've done:*
* + Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 8 years) work experience.
+ 2+ years of consulting experience in the public safety industry.
+ Proven self-starter that proactively develops working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
+ Demonstrated experience in coordinating installation projects and partnering with contractors, as well as other key elements of public safety implementations.
+ Shown comfort working in rapid paced environments with evolving expectations and priorities.
** It would be awesome if you also had:*
* + CJIS certification
+ Knowledge/familiarity with Oracle products and services, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
+
Experience with public safety & first responder vehicles
+ Experience working in a public safety position

_This is a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) sensitive position and will require a fingerprint-based background investigation, conducted by customer criminal justice agencies, to determine an applicant's eligibility for access to criminal justice information. Employees hired for this position will be required to obtain and maintain CJIS access approval by Federal, state, and/or local agencies for Criminal Justice information, related law enforcement databases, and communications systems._

Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $209,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
