Hardware Support Technician

Our client, a leading provider of hardware support services, is seeking a Hardware Support Technician to join their team. As a Hardware Support Technician, you will be part of the Technical Support Department supporting on-site hardware repair and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform hardware repair and configuration of HP print devices, including Design Jet, A3, and Laser Jet models.

+ Provide technical support for Personal Systems such as laptops, desktops, POS systems, and workstations.

+ Assist with installations, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware issues onsite at customer locations.

+ Work collaboratively with escalation teams and technical personnel to develop effective action plans.

+ Engage with customers to educate them about technology solutions, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and service quality.

** What's Needed?*
* + Proven experience troubleshooting hardware problems on HP print devices and personal systems.

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with tools and alignment apparatus.

+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, especially in customer-facing situations.

+ Ability to prioritize multiple activities and adapt quickly to changing environments.

+ Reliable personal auto, with mileage reimbursement, and residence within 15 minutes of Baton Rouge.
