SUMMARY:
The Legal IT Project Coordinator must coordinate department and enterprise level technology projects, provide project status information to management, and participate in improving project management office (PMO) practices, policies, and procedures. The IT Project Coordinator works to support the continuation and evolution of the PMO’s strategic and administrative goals. This position may be posted externally under a market-aligned title to enhance candidate reach.
Upon hire, the official title for the role will be IT Project Coordinator. - Monitor and coordinate project activities to help ensure project scope, schedule, and budgets are maintained.
- Create and maintain applicable project artifacts to monitor and track project progress and status.
- Generate reports as necessary for project stakeholders and management.
- Support Legal IT Project Manager activities to ensure technology projects are completed through
- Improve knowledge of project management methods and supporting technology.
- Work with the PMO team to improve PMO operations, procedures, policies, and execution.
- Assist IT Project Managers with educating interested Firm parties on project management concepts, methods, and technologies.
- Work with the Firm’s internal training department on project management education initiatives.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Experience with and willingness to apply AI technology and concepts to project management.

- Four-year college degree or demonstratable experience.
- Experience with multiple project management methodologies.
- Project management certifications or willingness to obtain.
- Experience with Microsoft project management and Microsoft 365 applications.
