We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Energy & Environmental Litigation Partnership Track Associate to join our client's dynamic team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The Energy & Environmental Litigation Partnership Track Associate will be responsible for handling a variety of complex energy and environmental litigation matters for our client's prestigious clients. This is a partnership track position, offering the opportunity for long‑term growth and advancement within the firm.

• Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of energy and environmental issues
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Participate in all phases of discovery, including document review and production
• Assist with trial preparation, including drafting witness outlines and preparing exhibits
• Attend depositions, hearings, and trials as needed
• Communicate with clients and provide regular updates on case progress
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and development
• Mentor and supervise junior associates and support staff as needed

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Louisiana State Bar
• 3-5 years of experience in energy and environmental litigation
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Experience with complex litigation software and databases is a plus
