Purchasing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to support our procurement and supply chain operations.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys coordinating purchasing activities, managing vendor communication, and ensuring materials arrive on time to keep production moving efficiently.

You will play a key role in supporting operations through inventory coordination, purchase order management, and supplier communication while helping improve overall procurement processes.

• Assist with procurement and purchasing activities using ERP systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, Sage, or similar platforms
• Coordinate materials management, inventory tracking, and supply chain support activities
• Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery schedules
• Assist with sourcing raw materials, components, and services to support production demands
• Maintain accurate purchase orders, procurement records, and vendor documentation
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations to prevent material shortages
• Track orders and follow up on delayed shipments to ensure on-time delivery
• Support supplier evaluations and assist in identifying cost‑saving opportunities
• Help support procurement strategies related to sourcing, pricing, and inventory optimization

• 1-3 years of purchasing experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication and follow-up skills when working with vendors and internal teams
• Basic understanding of procurement, purchasing, inventory, or supply chain operations
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Sage, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar preferred
• Manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus
• Self-motivated team player with a proactive and problem‑solving mindset
