Floor Technician

FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME) at Crothall Healthcare

Location: Ochsner Baton Rouge – 17000 Medical Center Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
Schedule: Monday – Friday; must work alternate weekends.
Pay Range: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour.

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

• Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and use proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery: shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• Preferred: previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
