The porter is responsible for ensuring all key areas in the warehouse are clean and safe for customers and employees. This includes handling liquids or substances that may pose hazards. The porter maintains sanitation and cleaning logs, verifies them daily, and ensures cleaning equipment complies with the company HACCP program. Additionally, the porter may perform other tasks such as paint touch‑ups, cleaning wet pallets, and maintaining lighting, as assigned by the branch manager.

• General sweeping of interior and exterior building premises.
• General cleaning and maintenance of all restrooms.
• Cleaning of windows, doors, and coffee area as needed.
• Maintenance of all trash containers on premises.
• Operation of trash compactor, cardboard baler, and floor scrubbing machine as needed.
• Cleanup of spills in the warehouse.
• Cleanup of employee break room per schedule.
• Assist department managers with aisle cleaning.
• Verify all HACCP guidelines and sanitation logs.
• Assist management with other assigned duties.

• Good communication skills.
• Basic understanding of sanitation guidelines.
• Basic knowledge of operating floor machines, baler, and compactor helpful.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
