Location:

Drakes Landing Apartment Community, Baton Rouge, LA.

Under the direction of the Property Manager, primarily responsible for the upkeep of the property to enhance and maintain its curb appeal.

Essential Job Functions:

• Physically walk the property frequently and remove litter, debris, cigarette butts, and pet droppings from the grounds. Ensure areas such as the Management Office, pool area, laundry room, mail kiosk/room, pathways to vacant units, stairways and breezeways, dumpster areas, recreation areas, grounds adjacent to the road, in front of the office, walkways to and from and between buildings, exterior lighting fixtures, and parking lots and drives remain neat and free of litter.
• Perform “trash out” duties at vacated apartments daily: remove all abandoned furniture, trash, and boxes; transfer these items to the dumpster or storage area as applicable.
• Transfer trash and other items left outside of dumpster into the dumpster; pick up, sweep area, and keep dumpster doors closed when not in use.
• Perform routine maintenance on the property as directed by the property manager, including assisting with make readies, painting interior/exterior, routine service requests, changing locks, and distributing resident communications such as resident notices, unit inspection notices, pest control notices, and newsletters.
