Summary
Glaz-Tech is seeking a Gluer, Capper on IG Line, and Framing for IG at our Baton Rouge, LA location. We are looking for a responsible, adaptable, and self-driven individual eager to grow with us in the manufacturing industry. The manufacturing associate will operate various tools, machinery, and protective gear to ensure product safety and quality.
Responsibilities may include:
- Operate specialized machinery and hand tools
- Organize and produce various glass products
- Assist multiple departments as needed
- Inspect, accept, and reject work in compliance with applicable codes and specifications
- Conduct quality control tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, accuracy, and high standards of quality
Requirements:
- Ability to safely lift 50-75 pounds
- Ability to stand for 8 hours per day
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to communicate in English
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow professionally
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of quality inspection techniques and equipment
- Authorized to work in the US
