Seal Repair Technician Responsibilities- Perform mechanical seal repair, assembly, and service activities to meet safety, quality, and delivery standards
- Interpret assembly drawings and customer specifications to accurately repair and rebuild mechanical seals
- Inspect seal components using measuring instruments to ensure compliance with dimensional and quality requirements
- Complete repair documentation including inspection reports, observation reports, and work orders
- Support shipping and receiving activities, including material handling and inventory staging
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation related to repairs and service activities
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment, including proper maintenance of tools and equipment
- Provide after-hours support as needed to meet customer requirements and service demands
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in a technical or mechanical field
- Minimum of 2 years of service center, repair, or related hands‑on mechanical experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in precision assembly and machining processes
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications
- Proficiency in using measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality standards
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills with a team‑oriented mindset and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
