Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position in Louisiana with travel experience and flexible scheduling requirements.

• Work in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital
• Day shifts consist of four 10-hour shifts per week with variable start times
• Primary call requirements include up to 4 call shifts per 13-week contract, with call hours from 11 pm to 7 am on weekdays and 7 pm to 7 am on weekends
• Backup call required 1-2 times per week as support for in-house night shift RN
• Low call-in frequency reported
• Provide comprehensive care to post-anesthesia patients
• Must be flexible with scheduling and call requirements
• Two references from supervisors within the last two years are required for consideration
• All time off requests must be disclosed at the time of application

• Active RN license from Louisiana or a compact state
• Current PACU nursing experience required
• Previous travel nurse experience is mandatory
• Local candidates are not eligible for this position
