Join our dynamic Medical-Surgical Unit—a fast-paced environment ideal for nurses looking to refine their time management and multi-tasking skills. This unit serves a diverse patient population with a broad range of diagnoses, offering an excellent opportunity to gain extensive clinical experience.
As a Medical-Surgical RN, You Will- Care for patients with a wide variety of medical and surgical conditions.
- Develop expertise in postoperative care, pain management, and intravenous therapy.
- Perform numerous procedures and expand your clinical skillset.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a team-oriented setting.
- Basic Life Support (CPR)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Preceptor Training
- Charge Nurse Leadership Development
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Louisiana RN license (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (preferred)
- Current CPR certification (required)
- Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal communication skills
