Shift DetailsPool:
Shift days and hours as needed - 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. All pool staff, regardless of type, must be available to work at least 2 shifts per month, including:
Christmas, New Years Day, and one other major holiday (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, or Thanksgiving Day). Note that the 2 shifts will be offered based on the provided availability by the employee. New employee orientation lasts three full days and requires attendance for all days: training is Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday onsite, with full‑day attendance required.

The Registered Nurse (RN) position oversees the medical, psychiatric, substance abuse, and nursing care for individuals served. The RN also serves as a clinical liaison for designated individuals until they are enrolled in services at another community facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Guest Care & Advocacy:
- Coordinates services with various public and private community health, mental health, and social service agencies to ensure appropriate services for individuals.
- Assists individuals with preparation and recording of the service planning process.
- Conducts assessments and treatment plans.
- Provides individual and family counseling.
- Participates in the development of educational curriculum.
- Supervises and/or provides nursing treatment and monitoring, such as diabetes and blood pressure.
- Responds to crisis calls for assessment and pertinent intervention as needed.
- Coordinates the relationship with outside medical and nursing support services including pharmacy and laboratory services.
- Compliance &
Risk Management:- Administers medication as required by protocol.
- Completes clinical documentation as required.
- Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
- Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
- Cross Functional
Collaboration:- Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to continuously improve productivity, efficiency, recovery outcomes and medical care.

Job Requirements- Education/Licenses:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse (Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred).
- Valid and current state‑specific Nursing license (Compact licensure preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their indications, common side effects, reactions and interactions of medications prescribed.
