Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical Unit.

Location: Baton Rouge.

Schedule: 3x12s | 36 Hours/Week.
Shift: Days.
Pay: Gross Weekly Pay up to $2,052/week.
Travel Requirement: Must reside greater than 50 miles from the facility — local clinicians are not eligible for this assignment.

Geaux Care Staffing is seeking an experienced and dependable Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Surgical unit assignment in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. • Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes appropriately.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments and discharge planning.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and infection control standards.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current NIHSS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
