Job Overview
Registered Nurse (RN) – Correctional Medical‑Surgical
Location:
East Baton Rouge Parish Jail, Baton Rouge, LA 70807
Salary: $40.00 per hour Position:
Full‑time (nights and days, 12‑hour shifts, rotating weekends)
- Render nursing care in assigned area based on individualized client needs.
- Perform dependent and independent nursing functions in accordance with recognized nursing techniques, procedures and established standards.
- Work under the direction or delegation of a registered nurse, ensuring conformance with scope of practice.
- Valid, unrestricted RN license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to pass a thorough background check.
