Job Summary
Provides detailed information and guidance to patients to ensure they understand their healthcare plans. Patient Educator is responsible for advising patients about treatment options and supporting them in managing their health conditions.
Education- Required – Bachelor’s Nursing
- Preferred – Master’s Nursing
- Preferred – 2 years experience in teaching or healthcare education
- Required – Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice

- Research and integrate new educational resources
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with all policies and standards
Light Work – Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. The job requires walking or standing to a significant degree and may involve pushing or pulling of arm or leg controls. No exposure to blood, body fluid, or tissue; no occupational risk for communicable diseases.
Possible exposure to hazardous medications or waste when preparing or disposing of contaminated materials.
