Our client is currently seeking a Travel RN - Labor and Delivery
Shift:Night Shift, 12 Hours | 36 Hours/Week
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced maternity setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based nursing interventions.
- Monitor maternal and fetal conditions and respond appropriately to clinical changes.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatments, procedures, and post-delivery care.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program (Diploma in Nursing required).
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Louisiana or eligibility to practice.
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) (must be submitted with profile)
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification (required within 12 months of hire)
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Specialty certification in Labor & Delivery, Maternal-Child, or related nursing specialty.
