RN Infusion, Outpatient Infusion Center – PRN

• Provide patient care using the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice
• Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members
• Assume accountability for quality patient outcomes
• Demonstrate sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity
• Support unit and department strategic goals and objectives
• Maintain professional responsibility and accountability for nursing practice
• Assess patient, family, and group learning needs and implement appropriate teaching strategies
• Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources
• Serve as a leader and partner on the interdisciplinary team
• Use data, information, and knowledge to evaluate and promote change for optimal outcomes
• Enhance customer satisfaction, employee morale, and the nursing profession
• Adapt behavior and communication to specific patient populations
• Remain knowledgeable about applicable laws, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Report known or suspected unethical, questionable, safety, privacy, or compliance-related concerns
• Perform other related duties as required

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to demonstrate good judgement and be self-directed
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform heavy work, exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 25 to 50 pounds frequently, and 10 to 20 pounds constantly
• Must comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements

Demonstrates expertise in patient care through the nursing process, effective communication, and leadership within interdisciplinary teams. Maintains accountability for quality outcomes while adhering to nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
