American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift position requiring compact or LA RN license and telemetry/medsurg experience.

• Work in the Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 18:45-7:15)
• Day ratios of 1:5 and night ratios of 1:6
• Float required
• Call required
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active RN license (Compact or Louisiana) required in hand
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry or medsurg experience required
• Experience with cardiac drips and EKG required
• Driver's license required for consideration

• May be assigned to an emergency response team during facility emergency events, with expectation to remain onsite or serve on a relief team
• Holiday availability required for 2 of 4 designated holiday periods:
  Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• Two manager or supervisor references required prior to start (charge RNs not accepted)
• Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Former permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must have a 1-year separation before returning as travelers
• All requested time off must be disclosed on the profile and discussed during interview
