American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift position requiring an LA or compact RN license and telemetry/medsurg experience.

• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (18:45-7:15)
• Telemetry unit setting
• Patient ratios: 1:5 days, 1:6 nights
• Floating required
• Call required
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend

• Active LA or compact RN license required in hand
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry/medsurg experience required
• Experience with cardiac drips and EKG required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Two manager/supervisor references required prior to start (charge RNs not accepted)

• May be assigned to an Emergency Team requiring on-site presence until the event passes or relief arrives
• Holiday coverage required for 2 of 4 designated holiday periods:
  Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• Must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Former permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off must be disclosed on profile and discussed during interview
