Quality Control Inspector Overview

Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to examine made or purchased products by checking for material defects or incorrect dimensions.

• Review all work orders coming from the shop by checking them against the work order and drawing.
• Review all vendor items by checking them against the purchase order and drawings.
• Follow the quality control standards and procedures that have already been established for the department.
• Must be able to use all the tools in the department for inspecting the parts.
• Notify the Quality Control Manager when tools either have issues or they are beyond their calibration date.
• Identify and segregate nonconforming materials and process the appropriate deviations.
• Scan, file, and maintain the material certifications for raw materials in the department.

• Must be detail oriented.
• Must have basic mathematical skills.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task when necessary.

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity for handling parts and tools.
• Comfortable working around machinery and in a manufacturing environment.
