Store Support, Customer Service Rep

Overview

Store Support role at The Home Depot. This role focuses on non-sales functions to support customer satisfaction and store operations.

Associates in Store Support positions are responsible for a variety of non-sales functions. This may include ensuring an outstanding customer order fulfillment experience, assisting customers in the lot or providing administrative services. Direct customer or vendor interaction is sometimes required for these positions. These positions play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. They must work cooperatively with other Associates, vendors, and carriers, with some supervision, be detail-oriented, and have proven time management skills.

They must demonstrate a high level of integrity at all times, respond to operational concerns of all associates and remain focused on store-specific business objectives while supporting key operational responsibilities. Specific positions may include:
Office Associate, Order Fulfillment Associate, Lot Associate, and Customer Service Representative.

• Assist customers in order fulfillment and/or the lot.
• Provide administrative services and support store operations.
• Interact with customers or vendors as needed and respond to questions on product order status.
• Direct customers to store departments or merchandise as appropriate.
• Support cash management or program compliance as assigned.
• Collaborate with other associates, vendors, and carriers to maintain customer satisfaction.

• Detail-oriented with proven time management skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others and under some supervision.
• High level of integrity and focus on store objectives.
• Experience in office, order fulfillment, lot, or customer service roles is relevant.
