Porter / Sales Assistant

This is a full‑time position.

Our company has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced, results‑focused, highly driven and detail‑oriented Lot Porter / Sales Assistant. The position assists our Sales management team with inventory control, maintaining both the physical and the online inventory. This role is critical to ensure the accuracy of our vehicle listings, optimize lot organization, and support sales efforts through timely, well‑presented inventory updates.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of vehicle types, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the automotive industry.

Job Responsibilities
  • Inspect and document all incoming used vehicle inventory
  • Maintains inventory both physically on the lot & online
  • Ensure timely posting of used vehicles across online platforms (dealership website, third‑party listing sites)
  • Coordinate with service and reconditioning teams to track vehicle readiness
  • Organize and maintain the lot inventory for optimal visibility and sales presentation
  • Maintain up‑to‑date records for all vehicle titles, keys, and documentation
  • Transport cars to clients or to off‑site vendor locations for additional work
  • Pull cars from inventory when needed
  • Attend weekly department meetings as appropriate
  • Keeps all cars showroom ready
  • Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor as needed
Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
    Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous experience in automotive inventory, sales, or lot operations is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
  • Ability to operate vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
