Business Development
Digital, a performance-driven digital marketing agency with 30+ years of industry leadership, is seeking an ambitious and consultative Sales Executive to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for identifying, nurturing, and closing new business opportunities by selling a full suite of digital marketing services, including Paid Search, SEO, Programmatic Display, Social Media, Creative, and Data & Audience solutions.
We’re looking for a driven closer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the modern marketing landscape, and knows how to tailor solutions to client goals. You’ll work closely with the CCO, marketing leadership, and product specialists to drive revenue growth and expand our client base across industries—with a strong focus on automotive, multi-location, and growth-minded businesses.
Key Responsibilities
New Business DevelopmentProspect and qualify new leads through inbound inquiries, outreach, referrals, events, and CRM data.
Develop and execute personalized outreach strategies to engage high-potential prospects.
Conduct discovery meetings to understand client pain points, budgets, and growth goals.
Build consultative proposals and presentations that align Digital’s solutions with client needs.
Lead deal negotiations, manage objections, and close contracts with professionalism and urgency.
Sales Process & Pipeline ManagementMaintain an active pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities in the CRM.
Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales performance.
Track deal progression, communication history, and next steps for each opportunity.
Ensure timely follow-ups, proposal delivery, and internal handoffs post-close.
Partner with department leads (Search, SEO, Creative, Social, etc.) to craft winning strategies.Work with onboarding teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to fulfillment.
Collaborate with the CCO and marketing team on positioning, collateral, and industry-specific outreach campaigns.
Stay current on Digital’s evolving products, technologies, and case studies.
Industry Engagement & Growth
Attend conferences, expos, webinars, and industry events as needed to represent the agency and generate leads.
Build relationships with OEM representatives, vendor partners, and dealership groups.
Continuously learn about emerging digital advertising trends, tools, and platforms.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in agency operations, digital marketing leadership, or a similar client delivery environment.
Proven track record leading teams across account services and fulfillment functions (e.g., Paid Search, SEO, Programmatic, Creative, etc.).
Deep understanding of agency economics, resource planning, and client lifecycle management.
Demonstrated ability to lead through change, scale teams, and resolve organizational complexity.
Executive-level communication, leadership, and strategic problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive insight from data and implement changes accordingly.
Familiarity with OEM program structures and multi-channel media strategy is a plus.
