Develop new international customers and expand chemical exports from South Korea into global markets. This is a customer-acquisition and revenue-generating sales role. The primary responsibility is identifying, developing, and converting international customers rather than sourcing chemical suppliers. Target markets include North America, Europe, Japan, and other international markets.
We are seeking an experienced International Sales Representative - Global Chemical Exports to develop new international customers and expand chemical exports from South Korea into global markets. The successful candidate will understand the South Korean chemical industry, international trade, global customer development, and commercial negotiation.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and develop new international customers
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of chemical buyers, distributors, manufacturers, importers, and traders
- Convert existing relationships into new commercial opportunities
- Develop long-term customer relationships and repeat business
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and supply agreements
- Meet individual sales and revenue targets
- Identify unique supplier or product opportunities when they provide commercial advantage
- Support customer inquiries, quotations, and commercial proposals
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity
- Report market intelligence to senior leadership
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful execution of customer orders and export programs
- 3+ years of experience in chemical sales, international trading, chemical distribution, or a related commercial role
- Must have existing legal authorization to work in South Korea
- Professional fluency in Korean and English
- Experience working with chemical manufacturers or distributors
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Understanding of international trade fundamentals
- Ability to manage multiple customer relationships
- Strong negotiation skills
- Established relationships with international chemical buyers and decision-makers
- Proven ability to develop new customers and generate revenue
- Demonstrated history of international chemical sales or trading
Travel:
Limited travel as required
Compensation: $70,000-$100,000 USD base salary + commission.
