Position: STUDENT - OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND FINANCE
The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) is responsible for managing and protecting the state's renewable natural resources, including all wildlife and aquatic life.  LDWF supports a strong work ethic in its employees and incorporates the use of good science, accurate information and technology.

The incumbent of this position serves as a Student in the Office of Management and Finance Division

Participation Requirements

A student enrolled in an accredited Louisiana college, university, or state-operated technical college who is either:

* Classified as a full-time student under their school's criteria ,or

* In their final two semesters and taking the courses needed to graduate, even if not full-time.
* (HR will verify student enrollment status prior to job offer)

* To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

* Work Schedule:

This is a part-time position that will report in-office. This position may average 20 hours per week. Depending on the time of year, the student may be allowed to work more.

Verification of enrollment from the University will be required upon hire.

Students do not need to be registered during the summer sessions in order to be qualified for student status. However, if graduating in the spring semester, proof of enrollment for the fall semester must be received in order to continue employment under the student employment program.

APPLICATIONS WILL BE KEPT ACTIVE FOR 90 DAYS

* Miscellaneous other projects.
