Turner Specialty Services is looking for an experienced RT Technician - Level II for full-time work around the Baton Rouge, LA area. Required duties are associated with NDE of materials per the referencing code.
Essential Qualifications- Must have valid driver's license
- Requirement is computed radiography weld quality and profile radiography
- Must be capable of utilizing Carestream and VMI equipment for digital and computed radiography
- Must be local to southeast LA
- Documentation needed: NDE classroom training records, OJT hours, past certifications, and resume
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be certified in RT, UTT.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills.
- Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical InvolvementMay be required to do the following: climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc.; reaching in all directions; handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes, hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30 to 50 pounds from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, equipment, etc.;
standing / sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction; wearing respirator and other PPE; typing / data entry; stepstool use; work in excessive heat; work in excessive cold; work in loud environment.
