Your Role And Responsibilities
As an Associate Application Developer specializing in Salesforce at IBM, you will develop your capabilities through structured learning, certifications, mentorship, and hands-on client experience. You will learn to configure and administer the Salesforce platform, leveraging enterprise tools to ensure seamless workflow and integration with enterprise applications. Through your growth path at IBM, you will develop skills to:

• Configure and Administer Salesforce:
  Learn to configure and administer the Salesforce platform to meet business requirements, ensuring efficient workflow and data management using tools like the  IDE and Data Loader.
• Develop Apex Code and Visualforce Pages:
  Build capabilities in writing Apex code and creating Visualforce pages and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to customize and enhance Salesforce functionality.
• Integrate with Enterprise Applications:
  Gain experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications, ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization to provide a unified user experience.
• Maintain and Optimize Salesforce:
  Perform routine maintenance and optimization tasks to ensure platform efficiency and user adoption.

• Currently completing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of programming languages and core software engineering principles.
• Understanding of software development fundamentals, APIs, databases, cloud computing, and application architectures.
• Exposure to web applications, software development, or enterprise platforms through coursework, projects, research, or internships.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Curiosity about enterprise technology, Artificial Intelligence, CRM platforms, automation, and digital transformation.

• Exposure to Salesforce platform configuration, administration, or CRM principles.
• Experience or coursework involving Apex code development, Visualforce, or Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Knowledge of CRM integration principles with enterprise applications.
• Interest in Salesforce performance optimization, workflow automation, and cloud-native solutions.
