LEM Trucking is hiring for a Class A CDL Truck Driver position in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, offering consistent OTR freight, competitive weekly earnings, and scheduled home time twice each month. Drivers operate primarily east of Texas with no required New York City deliveries.

The freight network is designed around longer runs and steady load availability. Drivers can build productive mileage throughout the week while operating within an established territory instead of depending heavily on short haul assignments.

Home Time and Weekly Earnings

Average pay ranges from $1,400 to $1,900 per week based on mileage and verified tractor trailer experience. Drivers return home every other weekend for a full 48 hour reset.

A Class A CDL Truck Driver should be comfortable staying on the road between scheduled home periods while operating throughout the eastern portion of the country.

Freight and Fleet Details

• Average weekly earnings of $1,400 to $1,900

• Full 48 hour reset at home every other weekend

• 100 percent no touch dry van freight

• Operating territory primarily east of Texas with no NYC deliveries

• 2021 or newer automatic Kenworth and Freightliner tractors

Loads include both drop and hook freight and scheduled live appointments. Drivers are not responsible for physically loading or unloading cargo.

Assigned Equipment and Benefits

Each Class A CDL Truck Driver operates newer equipment designed for extended road time. Assigned tractors include automatic transmissions, APUs, refrigerator space, power inverters, TV mounts, and microwave mounts.

Benefits begin after 30 days and include medical, dental, and vision insurance. Drivers also have access to a 401(k) with company match, vacation pay eligibility, rider and pet programs, and paid orientation.

Class A CDL Truck Driver Requirements

Applicants must hold a valid Class A CDL and have at least three months of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience within the previous three years. Drivers must meet DOT qualification standards and company requirements for an acceptable driving history.
