Warehouse Supervisor (Full-Time)

Raising Cane’s River Center | Baton Rouge, LA
Department: Food & Beverage (Concessions)
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Schedule: Full-time; must be available for nights, weekends, holidays, and event-based hours

Position Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor supports the Food & Beverage operation by receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking all concession food, beverage, and supply inventory for events. This role ensures accurate receiving and documentation, proper stock rotation, clean and organized storage areas, timely transfers to concession stands, and adherence to all safety and sanitation standards. The Warehouse Supervisor works closely with the Food & Beverage leadership team to maintain appropriate inventory levels so events are properly stocked and service runs smoothly.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Inventory Receiving & Control
  • Receive ordered goods and verify deliveries against receiving reports, invoices, and purchase documentation.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and condition; report discrepancies or damages to management promptly.
  • Accurately label, store, and secure products following established procedures (including FIFO rotation).
Stocking, Transfers & Event Support
  • Pull, stage, and transfer food and beverage items to concession stands according to Food & Beverage procedures and event needs.
  • Ensure transfers are properly documented using logs, transfer sheets, and other required records.
  • Support stand replenishment during events as needed to maintain service levels.
Warehouse Organization & Sanitation
  • Maintain a clean, neat, safe, and sanitary warehouse, storage, and work areas.
  • Rotate inventory to minimize spoilage and shrink; monitor expiration dates and product integrity.
  • Follow all proper sanitation and food safety procedures at all times.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain and reconcile inventory logs, transfer sheets, receiving documents, and related records.
  • Communicate inventory levels, shortages, and restock needs to management to support ordering and event planning.
Safety & Security
  • Maintain safe, secure, and sanitary working conditions; follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Properly handle and store products to reduce loss, damage, or contamination.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong organization and attention to detail; able to maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adjust quickly as event needs change.
  • Works effectively under pressure and/or tight timelines.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally (oral and written) and follows instructions.
  • Maintains effective working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and event staff.
Required Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience in warehouse, inventory, receiving, or stock operations (food & beverage preferred).
  • Ability to pass background check.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
  • Works in a warehouse, office, and concession stand environment.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods during shifts and events.
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs routinely (and move product according to industry standards).
  • Requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours, based on event schedules.
