- Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures
- Receives incoming shipments into inventory, posts in online system and places items in warehouse
- Identify any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor
- Picks product in warehouse and prepares items for pick up, delivery or shipping
- Package and ship through UPS, Fed Ex, and LTL Motor Freight
- Assist with staging local shipments for VMI delivery and Hot Shots
- Responsible for local deliveries and pickups
- Makes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements
- Assists with physical inventory
- Properly label and store received goods for future identification and retrieval
- Maintain all warehouse locations, bins, and racks in a neat and orderly fashion
- Properly keep designated stocking locations stocked as required
- Pull stock for all “Pick
- Pack-Ship” orders for daily customers - Provide correct parts and materials for daily production orders
- Perform other duties as trained and qualified for
- Basic computer skills in MS Office, internet and email
- Experience working in ERP or Inventory system such as P21 a plus
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory software and to create packing list
- Self-starter
- Excellent attention to detail
- Applicants should possess the ability to interact with customers and team members in a professional manner. Some leadership experience is a plus.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Requires proficiency in math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in units of measure. Additionally, must be able to perform calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Strong organizational and housekeeping skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload and be able to interact effectively with all types of people
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- 1-3 years of related warehousing or production experience
- Ability to safely drive a Company truck or other mechanical equipment
- High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have a mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn about how our products are produced on equipment
- Reliable transportation is a must
- Ability to work overtime, as required
- Ability to work nights and weekends, as required
- Background checks and drug screening may be required (by Company, Customer or DOT requirements in working on-site and operating equipment as required or permitted by law)
- Experience working in an industrial setting
- Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance
- ERP experience, P21 a plus
This position is based in a production and warehouse setting, which may involve exposure to a range of environmental conditions.
