Large international manufacturing company located on the East Side of Battle Creek is looking for a Buyer
- Look for opportunities within the commodity category for reduction of spend, consolidation of process, function and continuity of supply
- Manages the contracts within the commodity category and reports the metrics associated with them
- Responsible for identification & evaluation within the commodity category for reduction of spend, consolidation of process, function & continuity of supply
- Will be responsible for requests for information (RFI) or quote (RFQ)
- Send out and review complete RFQ packages and negotiate the basic terms of a contract to support an agreement
- Monitor supplier(s) performance, audit results and elevate issues within the supplier's organization for resolution
Bachelor’s Degree
5+ years of experience in procurement, preferred
2+ years working in a manufacturing environment
