Substitute Transportation Aide

Lakeview School District is a comprehensive school of approximately 3,850 students in grades K-12 with 500 faculty and support staff members with an annual General Fund Budget of $34 million. The District is comprised of six school buildings, four K-4 elementary buildings, one 5-8 middle school building and one high school.

To assist in providing safe transportation of students to and from designated locations.

• Ride the bus to assist in safely transporting students to and from school
• Assist with loading, unloading and crossing students
• Assist students with restraint requirements
• Assist students with health issues
• Assist driver in maintaining appropriate student behavior
• Respond to the needs of students and bus driver
• Communicates in an appropriate fashion with students, parents and staff
• May be required to accompany student to his/her residence
• Attend training and meetings as requested or required
• Must hold valid CPR certificate or ability to obtain a valid CPR certificate (District will provide training)

High School diploma or GED.

$12.50/hour
