Basic Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and transfer new product processes in a timely manner
- Achieving company goals or quality, cost, and delivery
- Assist in the design and procurement of new tooling/equipment related to processing of individual components and/or assemblies
- Prepare required documentation for ne programs
- Develop new product assembly lines to achieve target for quality level, cycle time, and equipment cost
- Attend and participate in new product development (NPD) as scheduled
- Design and implement assembly processes including operator movement, equipment, tooling, process layout and cycle times
- Participate in sourcing new machinery for production needs when necessary
- Seek out advancements in technology that will improve II Stanley’s production abilities
- Establish standardized documentation, process diagram, FMEA, process flow charts, trial reports, engineering changes, and other documentation as needed to maintain compliance with quality management system and customer requirements
- Participate in design reviews to review drawings, analyze tooling, recommend improvements leading to increased productivity, quality and safety
- Provide support for current production engineering changes when needed
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, and production personnel to complete duties
- Provide support to NPD group
- Performs other duties, task, or projects at the direction of immediate supervisor
- 0-3 years in a technical position affording a knowledge of assembly process
- Electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC programming skills
- Knowledge of programming robots (Fanuc, and IA)
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software (Solidworks, Catia)
- MS office software

The position may occasionally need to lift/pull up to 50 pounds and have specific vision abilities related to close and color vision. While performing the job the position is highly exposed to moving vehicles/machinery and factory equipment. The position may be required to work overtime to meet deadlines and requirements.
