Salary Range: $85,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the IATF 16949 Quality Management System.
• Lead and participate in internal and external IATF 16949 audits.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA).
• Oversee APQP activities, including PPAP submission and approval.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver training on IATF 16949 requirements and quality tools.
• Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs).

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years experience as a Quality Engineer in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in IATF 16949 standards and their practical application.
• Proficient in core quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in using 8D methodology.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Experience with AIAG Core Tools training delivery
• Familiarity with VDA standards and methodologies
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification
