HereIs What You Will Be Doing
- Provide support on technical analysis, evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of packaging materials design and configurations.
- Partner with the Insights Team to develop consumer-based package design research plan and timelines and develop prototypes for testing that meet the package and financial objectives.
- Partner with Procurement to determine package availability and cost information.
- Understand and define process needs and capabilities as they relate to the targeted production line. Work with appropriate resources to schedule plant/equipment testing and provide a test plan. Ensure adequate materials, resources, and timing for plant testing.
- Assist with plant testing and startup preparation. Provide input for both the plant test plans and production start-up.
- Assist Quality and Operations in establishing an “Image and Defect” Quality Manual, supporting documentation, and training for package image and defects.
- Partner with appropriate resources to refine/optimize the process, reduce Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and resolve quality issues.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Packaging, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering and/or related technical field.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Skilled in project management, effectively managing and prioritizing multiple initiatives.
- Travel up to 50%.
$86,240 – $107,800
