11:00 am - 9:30 pm, four 10-hour shifts, weekend availability is required
PAY:Starting at $16.59 per hour, with opportunities for annual increases.
REPORTS TO:SCOPE OF POSITION:
Responsible for guest service in the Sports book while operating sport betting ticket issuing and cashing equipment; answers questions about how sports bets are placed and the types of payouts. Trains guests on usage of wagering kiosks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The following is a list of the main duties and responsibilities. However, other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management. All duties must be performed in accordance with Tribal, Federal, and other applicable requirements, organizational specific policies, procedures and practices.
- Welcomes guests into the Sports book in a friendly, upbeat, and helpful manner.
- Can effectively understand guest wagers, input the wager and provide the guest with an accurate ticket.
- Reviews, verifies, and makes payments on tickets for sports wagers in accordance with department policy and procedures and ensures compliance to applicable jurisdictional gaming statues and regulations
- Maintains a cash bank for his/her shift, responsible for accepting payment and making correct change when necessary ensuring that established cash-handling policies and procedures are followed.
- Is fluent in the operations of the sports wagering kiosk and can train guests on use of the kiosk.
- Assists guests with the effective signup and use of the online sports/casino gaming application.
- Promotes the menu of Sports betting options to guests and explains wagering rules, including betting lines and odds, and procedures.
- Creates and enters player-tracking cards in accordance with company policy.
- Notifies management of escalated or prevalent guest issues/concerns and any apparent suspicious activity
- Safeguards company assets and adheres to all Sports book policies and procedures.
- Maintains a friendly, courteous attitude and the highest standard of quality guest service (WEEA) to both internal and external guests.
- Maintains a working knowledge of facilities, as well as special events on property, in order to upsell guests and maximize their experience.
- Facilitates the flow of information by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
- Strong interest in technology and agility at learning new products and features.
- Maintains the highest level of confidentiality.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record as outlined in the Fire Keepers Casino Hotel Attendance Policy.

Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication is required.
