The City of Battle Creek is seeking applicants for the January 2027 Police Academy with sponsorship through the department. This Recruit position is for non-certified applicants seeking sponsorship to attend the academy.
A $5,000 hiring bonus is offered. Applications will be accepted Aug 5 through Oct 31, 2026. Recruits will attend Kellogg Community College Police Academy and, upon successful completion, be promoted to entry-level officer and complete FTO.
