Instructs entry, mid-level, and advanced courses on policy, procedures and systems utilized by Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services (DLA DS) for receipt procedures, warehouse management, downgrading property, and scrap management.

Develops and maintains course materials related to DOD Disposal and DOD DEMIL policy.

Analyzes policy, regulation, and/or guidance changes from the Department of Defense (DOD) ensuring that course materials are updated to reflect the changes.

Provides input to Standard Operating Procedures and guidance documents.

Researches the fields of receiving property, safety and disposal of demilitarization/mutilation to improve quality of instruction and to ensure training needs are met.

Works with management officials to resolve problems, analyzing the effects these developments may have on DOD or DLA policies and procedures.

Serves as an expert resource and internal consultant to DLA in the areas of receipt procedures, warehouse management, downgrading property, and scrap management.

Conducts visits to field sites to validate adherence to published policy and procedure.
