Position: Supervisory IT Specialist (SYSADMIN/INFOSEC) with Security Clearance
Duties
* Serves as Branch Chief for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Technology Foundation Services Vulnerability Management (TFS-VM) branch.
* Leads a technical team supporting enterprise cybersecurity for TFS, translating mission priorities into actionable plans and high-quality deliverables.
* Oversees workload management, performance evaluations, personnel development, and coordination with senior leaders and stakeholders.
* Directs RMF activities, cybersecurity engineering, documentation development, and vulnerability management using a wide range of tools.
* Oversees the continuous monitoring processes and remediation coordination to vulnerabilities assigned within the TFS Division. Requirements Conditions of employment

A. Specialized

Experience:

One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement.

Creditable specialized experience includes:

- Exercises delegated managerial authority and responsibility over the enterprise cybersecurity functions within the Technology Foundation Services (TFS) division.

- Translates the organization's mission, vision, and strategic priorities into actionable goals and comprehensive work plans.

- Operates with a high degree of autonomy and independence, allocating budget, personnel, and technological resources based on operational tempo and mission criticality.

- Determines goals and objectives that need additional emphasis; determines the best approach or solution for resolving budget shortages; and plans for long range staffing needs. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Education Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level. Additional information As required by 5 C.F.R. § 302.106, DLA will provide Section 508 conform ant ICT to employees with disabilities.
