ELP Maintenance Technician

Section: 075 Electronic Lighting Plant

Shift
: 2nd

Reports to: Selena Boykins ELP Supervisor, Robert Brown ELP Section Manager

Basic Functions: Under the direction of the ELP Manufacturing Supervisor, the ELP Maintenance Technician is responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of the machinery in Electronic Assembly.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED
• Electrical/mechanical certification or equivalent training

• Experience:
  
  3 years in Automotive Manufacturing Maintenance or related experience.
• Self-motivated, can read and use technical information such as schematic drawings.

• Skills:
  
  Ability to read mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, etc. for troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to use hand tools and meters.
• Must have good communication skills and can work with technical support groups for troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Knowledge of PCB manufacturing, robotic assembly and inspection equipment.
• Available for daily and weekend overtime
• Internal candidates are required to have under 3.00 attendance points.

• Education:
  
  Certified Mechanical or Electrical training or related experience

• Experience:
  
  Panasonic and/or Yamaha SMT equipment, Mitsubishi and/or Omron PLC

• Skills:
  
  Checksum or similar In-Circuit Test equipment, troubleshooting.
• IA and other robotics programing and problem solving.
• Keyence Vision Systems and Sensors.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair printed circuit boards to component level.

This position may occasionally be required to travel overnight to perform essential functions at remote locations or receive training.
