ELP Maintenance Technician
Section: 075 Electronic Lighting Plant

Reports to: Selena Boykins ELP Supervisor, Robert Brown ELP Section Manager
Basic Functions: Under the direction of the ELP Manufacturing Supervisor, the ELP Maintenance Technician is responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of the machinery in Electronic Assembly.
Minimum Qualifications- Education:
High School Diploma or GED - Electrical/mechanical certification or equivalent training
- Experience:
3 years in Automotive Manufacturing Maintenance or related experience. - Self-motivated, can read and use technical information such as schematic drawings.
- Skills:
Ability to read mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, etc. for troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. - Ability to use hand tools and meters.
- Must have good communication skills and can work with technical support groups for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Knowledge of PCB manufacturing, robotic assembly and inspection equipment.
- Available for daily and weekend overtime
- Internal candidates are required to have under 3.00 attendance points.
- Education:
Certified Mechanical or Electrical training or related experience
- Experience:
Panasonic and/or Yamaha SMT equipment, Mitsubishi and/or Omron PLC
- Skills:
Checksum or similar In-Circuit Test equipment, troubleshooting. - IA and other robotics programing and problem solving.
- Keyence Vision Systems and Sensors.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair printed circuit boards to component level.

While performing the job the position is frequently exposed to moving or mechanical parts and moderate noise levels and working in a factory environment. This position may occasionally be required to travel overnight to perform essential functions at remote locations or receive training.
