Basic Responsibilities- Responsible to control the flow of material from suppliers and offsite locations in the material store
- Control the inventory levels to the minimum required based on shipping patterns
- Maintain timely and accurate records of material delivery shipments from suppliers
- Establish and maintain a systematic method for the ordering and delivery of daily production
- Control on hand and incoming inventory volumes
- Manage build outs and obsolescence
- Assist in controlling transportation to allow rapid inventory turns and controlled flow of material across dock
- Order material for new model build based on new product assembly schedules
- Escalate delivery and quality problems to advance purchasing
- Adhere to current industry quality standards
- Complete other duties, tasks, or projects at the direction of the immediate supervisor
- Two (2) + years of purchasing or inventory management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently or in a group environment
- Able to meet deadlines and complete accurate work without interruptions
- Experience with SAP
- 3-5 years of purchasing experience
- Experience with Plex
- Associates in Business or related field
- Preferred – Supply Chain Management Degree
