Chemical Process Technician

We are looking for a Chemical Process Technician in Battle Creek, MI to perform chemical batch processing for our client. Candidates must be able to work alternating 1st and 2nd shifts.

• Safe operation of dry powder batch processing
• Interfacing with product, equipment, and team members in activities such as operation of chemical processes, packaging product and other operational activities as assigned.
• Identification of and reporting of safety violations or concerns.
• Demonstrating good safety standards
• Troubleshooting equipment
• Operating material handling equipment

• 2+ years of chemical batch processing experience
• Experience with food or pharmaceutical processing is strongly desired
• Strong overall computer skills
• Must work well in a team environment and independently
• Demonstrate good work habits (attendance, safety, housekeeping, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work 24/7 rotating shifts
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Be open and able to occasionally wear a Pressurized Air Purifying Respirator
• Able to safely ascend and descend multiple flights of stairs during the shift.
