Experience:
Minimum 1 year required. Preference for 2 years of Med/Surg experience.
License:
Valid RN License required (pending license acceptable with estimated time of arrival).
Certifications:
BLS (AHA) required (pending certification acceptable, must confirm willingness to obtain).
Must-Have:
Must float to other Med/Surg units. Must be available the first 8 days of assignment. Must work every other weekend. Must be willing to work with a variety of staff (i.e., RNs, LPNs, Techs, etc.).
Description:
Seeking a registered nurse for a medical surgical position.
The role involves caring for a wide variety of patient types.
The unit specializes in gastrointestinal, urological, and gynecological surgeries.
The nurse will care for general medical diagnosis patients.
The staffing ratio is approximately 1:5-6 for nights.
Ratios may flex to 8 patients with support from an LPN in these instances.
Nurses are expected to float to different units based on needs, typically once a week.
Candidates must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires teamwork and collaboration with various healthcare professionals.
