Job Title
BBC Medical, Surgical, Oncology Unit (C5) is a 37 bed unit caring for a wide variety of patient types. We care for general medical diagnosis patients. We specialize in the care of all gastrointestinal, urological, and gynecological surgeries. Depending on the unit needs could be floated to different MS units. We all see a good mix of medical patients and our specialties can be seen below ortho/neurovascular, cardio/pulmonary, Surgical patients are GI, urology, hysterectomies, mastectomies.
Staffing Ratio 1:5-6 for nights Ratios may flex to 8 patients but RN will be paired with LPN for support in these instances Variety of staff work on this unit and other Med/Surg units (i.e RNs, LPNs, Techs, etc).
