Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Battle Creek, MI

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30)

• Provide comprehensive nursing care across all areas of an LDRP unit, including antepartum, labor and delivery, and couplet care
• Perform OR circulating and scrub nurse duties as needed within the unit
• Serve as newborn nurse at delivery, including performing lab draws and newborn infant hearing screens
• Conduct fetal heart monitoring (FHM) triage in accordance with AWHONN staffing guidelines
• Float to other areas of the facility as a sitter when needed, and to an additional regional site when census allows
• Adhere to holiday coverage requirements with flexibility to accommodate staffing demands

• Valid Michigan Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in OB, Mother/Baby, and Labor and Delivery
• Current ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NRP certifications
• AWHONN Intermediate and/or NCC C-EFM certification
• Proficiency in circulating and FHM triage
• Experience with EPIC EMR

• AWHONN Advanced certification
• Scrub nurse experience

• Work in a well-equipped 15-bed LDRP unit featuring 3 triage bays and 2 operating rooms, offering a dynamic and well-rounded clinical environment
• Scrubs are provided, and training is offered for newborn infant hearing screen completion
