Overview

Registered Nurse – Home Health in a continuing care retirement community setting. Battle Creek, Michigan, United States.

Start date:

06/08/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,683–$1,786 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This temporary travel assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC and operates within a home‑health model serving the frail and elderly populations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to participants in a home‑based and center‑integrated setting.
  • Triage emergent situations and apply advanced nursing knowledge independently.
  • Monitor acute and chronic medical conditions in coordination with primary care providers.
  • Implement and update care plans to deliver clinic and home‑based direct care.
  • Administer treatments, procedures, and medications as prescribed.
  • Perform regular home visits including wound care, lab draws, comprehensive nurse assessments, and other nursing tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Licensure: RN license to practice in Michigan; current and in good standing.
  • Education:

    Associate degree in Nursing required;
    Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of one year working with the frail, elderly, or long‑term care population; one year of home care experience preferred; one year of wound care experience preferred.
  • Certifications:

    CPR certification by American Heart Association or willingness to obtain.
  • Vaccinations:
    Must be fully vaccinated or willing to be vaccinated against influenza, MMR, varicella, Tdap/Td, Covid‑19, and Hepatitis

  • Skills/abilities:
    Demonstrates compassionate, collaborative care; able to work independently and with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Transportation:
    Reliable transportation with a valid Michigan driver’s license and car insurance.
  • Age:
    Must be 18 years of age or older.
