Travel RN - Psychiatric

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Psychiatric position requiring MI licensure and at least 2 years of recent behavioral health experience.

• Active MI RN license required at time of application
• Minimum of 2 years recent Behavioral Health nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Pyxis medication system experience required
• Handle With Care certification preferred
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration

• Work in an acute inpatient behavioral health hospital setting
• Treats adult patients (ages 18+) with mental health, behavioral, and substance abuse disorders
• Provides inpatient level of care including family, group, and individual therapy services
• Uses Epic for charting and Pyxis for medication administration
• 12-hour day shifts scheduled 7a-7p
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Holidays assigned as needed
• No blocked schedules permitted
• Floating required if requested
• Deliver direct psychiatric nursing care to adult patients within a state-of-the‑art behavioral health facility
• ASAP start required
• Local candidates accepted; a 30-mile radius applies for local versus travel pay rates
